PFund’s community-led search committee has opened the search for a new Executive Director. Please see the position profile for details and information about the application process.
In keeping with PFund's commitment to community-based work, the search for a new Executive Director is led by PFund Board and community members, with the assistance of the search firm, Ballinger/Leafblad. Claire Wilson and Alfonso Wenker co-chair the committee that includes: Kay Adam, Lois Carlson, Claire Chang, Dana Nelson, Ani Koch, John Larsen and Luz Maria Hernandez.

Interim Executive Director
Join us in welcoming Rebecca Voelkel, who stepped into her new role as Interim Executive Director in August. Rebecca is a longtime friend and valued supporter of PFund. She has served as Faith Work Director for the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force; Executive Director of the Institute for Welcoming Resources; Interim Executive Director for the United Church of Christ Coalition for LGBT Concerns; pastor of Spirit of the Lakes United Church of Christ; and program staff for the Center for the Prevention of Sexual and Domestic Violence. Rebecca was a founding board member of Minnesotans United for All Families and worked closely on organizing efforts against Minnesota’s anti-marriage and voter restriction amendments in 2012.

PFund’s 2014 Moxie Awards were a huge success! Over 180 people came to the Science Museum of Minnesota to celebrate PFund’s 2014 scholars, grantee partners and QReach partner organizations. Thank you to all who attended - and special thanks to our volunteers, performers, scholars and partner organizations!

The Bisexual Organizing Project recognizes individuals, community organizations and businesses annually that have demonstrated long term commitment to the support of the Bi+ community in the Upper Midwest. This month, BOP named PFund as the recipient of the 2014 Community Organization Community Recognition Award. PFund is humbled by this recognition and grateful to have opportunities to work with BOP to help resource Bi+ communities and for BOP’s work to support change in the Upper Midwest.

2014 PFund Scholars announced –

Congratulations to the 18 student leaders named 2014 PFund Scholars. Students are recognized for their service, leadership and outstanding academic achievement with awards ranging from $2,000 - $10,000—with $60,000 total awarded this year.
PFund gathered with over 60 leaders, funders and the QReach advisory group in St. Paul, Minn. in September for the QReach final convening: Thriving Forward.
